If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's that nothing feels quite as good as a full night's sleep. When you sleep well, it sets the tone for the rest of your day. You wake up feeling refreshed and ready to go. It's almost like the world knows when you sleep well: your morning coffee hits just right, the sun shines just a little brighter, and you've got a little extra pep in your step.
Your friends and colleagues may notice, too, especially if good sleep is becoming a foreign concept for you. If it is, you're not alone - according to the CDC, people around the U.S. are in need of some serious zzzz's - more than 1 in 3 Americans aren't getting enough sleep. Perhaps even more shocking is that 40% of people fall asleep during the day once a month, according to the National Institutes of Health. Experts agree that most folks should get at least seven hours of sleep a night, but in reality, most Americans struggle to get five or six.
While some ultra-rich CEOs claim they only need a few hours of sleep a night, that's not true for most people. In fact, your body and brain will hate you if you're not getting enough shuteye. If you're feeling sluggish, unmotivated, snappy, achy, sick, or just down in the dumps, you may not be getting enough sleep. And it may not be your fault - that old, dilapidated innerspring mattress that you're sleeping on may be the true culprit.
Fortunately, Sleep King is here to help you get on the fast track to falling asleep with the ultimate comfort of MLILY mattresses Near Me Tampa, FL.

Take a moment and think about all the different things that have happened in your life over the last decade. Maybe you graduated college or got the job of your dreams. Perhaps you got married or moved to a new home in a new state. But if you're like the average person, one thing remained the same: your mattress. It might be surprising to hear, but the average lifespan of a mattress is between seven and ten years.
Letting go of your old, worn-out mattress might be hard, especially if it's served you well over time. As with most products, however, nothing lasts forever. But how do you know when it's time to ditch your old bed and choose a new MLILY mattress in , FL? Here are just a few of the most common reasons that customers tell us when it comes to buying a new bed.
Is your mattress starting to smell less like roses and more like the dirty socks in your hamper? When your mattress gets smelly, it's most often a result of mold, fungi, and mildew buildup over time. There's not too much you can do to avoid this from happening, especially if you live in a humid climate. So, the next time you change your sheets, give your mattress a sniff. If it smells funky, it's time to upgrade.
If your mattress has a noticeable sag, it's a surefire sign that you need to get a new mattress. Mattresses sag because, over time, coils begin to weaken, and memory foam loses elasticity. If you lay down on your bed for a moment, get up, and your bed sags instead of returning to its original appearance, your mattress is nearing the end of its life.
Waking up in pain is basically the an thesis of what a mattress is supposed to do. Due to wear and tear over time, even the best mattresses lose their ability to support your body. If you've been waking up with dull aches and pains in your hips, lower back, or shoulders, it's a red flag. Finding a comfortable, supportive mattress like an MLILY Fusion Lux is of utmost importance.
Constantly moving side-to-side or switching positions in the middle of the night is a great way to get your partner angry. It's also a big sign that you need to consider buying a new mattress. Like the supportiveness of our mattresses, general comfortability also lessens with usage and time. Here's the truth: You shouldn't need to toss and turn to get comfortable in your bed. If you are, your mattress has probably declined in quality and needs replacing. You shouldn't ever have to put your sleep health on the line for an uncomfortable mattress.
It might sound obvious, but the #1 reason why people choose to buy a new mattress is to get better sleep. Sleep, in and of itself, is a bit of a mystery - somehow, our bodies just know when it's time to clock out for the day and go to sleep. But if you've been sleeping on a poor quality or dilapidated mattress for long enough, you might have become used to the feeling of lackluster sleep. If that sounds like you, we're here to tell you that you're missing out.
Getting a great night's rest is one of life's little pleasures, but according to experts, it's also much more than that. If you swear by limiting your sleep to be more "productive," you may be doing yourself a disservice.
When you don't get enough sleep on a regular basis, it can lead to serious heart issues like high blood pressure and even heart attacks. Why? Because poor sleep causes your body to release cortisol. This stress hormone causes your heart to work harder. That's great in some situations, but long stretches of poor sleep are quite bad for your heart. Like other parts of your body, your heart needs to rest in order to function correctly.
Getting a cold is never fun. But if it feels like someone slapped your head with an anvil when you get the sniffles, you may need better sleep. When you get great sleep, the proteins and immune cells in your body have a better chance of fighting off things like the common cold and flu. Your immune system also helps mitigate symptoms like runny noses, congestion, headaches, and more. Without the right sleep, symptoms from colds and cases of flu will be much worse.
Do you roll out of bed and feel like Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh? You're probably not getting great sleep. When you sleep well, you wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and ready to attack the day. Your energy levels are high, making life's little annoyances more manageable. And when you're not annoyed, you're typically not angry. When you're not angry, you're only a half-step away from being happy. So, put on our PJs and get to bed early on an MLILY mattress in , FL. Your friends and family will thank you!
Earlier, we mentioned how some people purposely lose sleep so that they can be more productive. On the surface, that makes some sense since you have more hours in the day to dedicate to work. However, burning the midnight oil again and again is a bad idea. Eventually, you'll start making mistakes that an afternoon pot of coffee won't fix. Instead of cutting your sleep short, try getting more. Studies show that great sleep is linked to higher cognitive function and improved concentration. If you're not purposely limiting your sleep, it's time to ditch that old mattress and swing by Sleep King.
Getting eight or more hours of sleep doesn't mean you're going to lose lbs. overnight. But getting better sleep can seriously help with your diet or weight loss goals. When you get poor sleep, your body creates a hormone called ghrelin that causes you to get hungry. It also lowers the amounts of leptin in your body, which is a hormone that lets you know you're full. With great sleep, these hormones remain balanced, so you don't wake up finding for a sugary bowl of Captain Crunch.
If you're sick of mediocre sleep and want to take on tomorrow with a fresh mind, better sleep begins with MLILY mattresses Near Me Tampa, FL. When you trust our mattress store Near Me Tampa, FL for MLILY mattresses, you're already taking the first steps towards better sleeping habits.
From cold-to-the-touch mattresses like the Fusion Luxe to popular hybrid bed options like the Fusion Supreme Hybrid Mattress, Sleep King has got you covered. With a vast selection of bed frames, adjustable bases, bedroom decor, and even whole-home furnishings, you won't have to look anywhere else besides our showroom Near Me Tampa, FL. One look at our prices, and you'll understand why we're South Carolina's go-to choice for premium mattresses like MLILY. The peak day is forecast to be March 22, when more than 90,000 passengers are expected to fly in and out of TPA, the airport said.
In South Florida, more than 5.7 million passengers are expected at Miami International Airport from March 6 to April 4 - a 3 percent increase over the same period last year, a news release said.
The season’s busiest week at MIA is projected to be between March 16 and 23. During this time, more than 1.4 million passengers are anticipated to travel in and out of Miami, averaging nearly 180,000 travelers a day, the airport said.
Nearby Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport also anticipates a bustling spring break season, with its busiest travel period expected March 15-17, projecting more than 70,000 passengers a day, NBC 6 reported.
Cities from the Panhandle to the Keys are expecting to welcome spring breakers in droves.
Five Florida cities claimed spots on the top 10 list of trending spring break destinations for this year, according to Google Flights.

The first Bahama Breeze location opened on International Drive in Orlando 1996 and was an instant hit.
Orlando-based Darden Restaurants announced Tuesday it would be closing all of its remaining Bahama Breeze locations nationwide, ending the brand after 30 years.
Half of the 28 Bahama Breeze locations across the country, including the one on Rocky Point Drive in Tampa and another in Lutz, will be converted into Darden’s other restaurant brands over the next 12 to 18 months and are expected to continue operating until any temporary closures are needed to convert them, the company said. The other 14 will be permanently closed as of April 5.
Darden said it doesn’t expect the closures to have a material impact on its financial results.
“The company believes the conversion locations are great sites that will benefit several of the brands in its portfolio,” Darden said. “Going forward, the primary focus will continue to be on supporting team members, including placing as many as possible in roles within the Darden portfolio.”
The first Bahama Breeze location opened on International Drive in Orlando 1996 and was an instant hit. Its Caribbean-inflected menu includes such offerings as Yuca Cheese Sticks, Chicken Tostones and Coconut Shrimp, along with a selection of Mai Tais, Mojitos and Margaritas.
“This creative Caribbean restaurant proves that mega-corporations can do good food if they want to,” wrote the Orlando Sentinel’s food critic at the time, Scott Joseph.
Industry analysts in 1998 said Bahama Breeze’s Florida locations averaged sales of at least $6 million a year, twice the average at each of Darden’s more established chains, Red Lobster and Olive Garden.
But the brand has recently been in trouble.
Darden closed 15 Bahama Breeze locations across the eastern United States in May, saying that it would allow the brand to focus on its highest performing restaurants and strengthen its overall performance. But its nine locations in the Orlando metro area had been spared.
John Gordon, a longtime industry analyst based in San Diego, said Bahama Breeze’s fall is in part due to the relatively limited popularity of Caribbean food in the U.S. It was also about balancing real estate costs versus profitably — a major problem for Darden, since the chain is one of the larger brands in its portfolio in terms of square footage per location.
But he said larger industry-wide problems are also to blame, including consumers who make less than $50,000 annually spending less due to inflation. Consumers in their mid-to-late twenties are also not able to financially establish themselves and spend as much as previous generations were able to do at that age.
Gordon said Darden’s priorities right now are taking care of their existing brands and finding new, exciting brands that they can bring on board.
“They know that Olive Garden is growing older,” he said of the Italian chain’s aging customer base. “Some of the customers are transitioning when they get older, they don’t go out to eat as much. … So they know that they have to be investing in other hot up-and-coming concepts.”
Here is a list of Bahama Breeze locations planned for closing and conversion. The company has not announced specific plans for the converted restaurants.

Seven athletes with ties to Florida will compete in the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympic Games, which officially open Friday with a ceremony at Milan’s San Siro stadium. The games run through Feb. 22.
The opening ceremony is typically the most-viewed event of the game on official broadcasts, and is watched by millions of people worldwide. U.S. pop singer Mariah Carey and crossover tenor Andrea Bocelli are among the performers. The opening ceremony begins at 8 p.m. local time (2 p.m. Eastern).
The ceremony will be re-aired in a primetime broadcast at 8 p.m. Eastern on NBC.
Olympic athletes from Florida are among 2,900 from 93 countries competing for 116 gold medals across 16 sports.
Dozens of countries will stream or air each day's events, with some of them delaying broadcasts until prime time depending on the time zone. NBC, which has exclusive U.S. broadcasting rights for live coverage, will delay coverage until prime time in the United States, where Eastern Time is six hours behind Milan and Cortina. It will stream live competition on Peacock.
Peacock doesn’t offer a free trial, but a couple of other streaming services do: DirecTV, whose plans start with a five-day free trial and whose channel lineup includes all of those providing service (NBC, USA Network, CNBC, NBCSN); and Hulu + Live TV, whose plans start with a three-day trial.
This will be the most spread-out Winter Games in history: The two primary competition sites are the city of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, the winter resort in the Dolomites that is more than 250 miles away by road. Athletes also will compete in three other mountain clusters besides Cortina, while the closing ceremony will be in Verona, 100 miles east of Milan.
Other key dates to watch are:
Two of the most decorated Alpine skiers in history, 41-year-old Lindsey Vonn and Mikaela Shiffrin, opened the World Cup season in dominant form. Vonn still plans to compete despite rupturing her ACL last week.
Eileen Gu is back in freestyle skiing, as is Chloe Kim in snowboarding. NHL players are back on Olympic ice for the first time since 2014, so watch for the likes of Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid.
Ski mountaineering will make its Olympic debut, while skeleton has added a mixed team event, luge has added women’s doubles, and large hill ski jumping added women’s and men’s super team events.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Electric has tips for customers about managing electric bills during colder winter weather in the Tampa Bay area. Increased use of heating systems and more time spent indoors can lead to higher energy consumption.
Karen Sparkman, vice president of customer experience for Tampa Electric, said in a news release Thursday that cold weather can affect monthly bills.
"Our goal is to help customers understand what drives their energy use and to share tools, offer customer programs and provide resources that can help them manage costs with confidence," Sparkman said.
There are several steps utility customers can take to manage their energy use.
Adjusting thermostats gradually, rather than making large temperature jumps, can prevent supplemental heat strips from activating, which use significant electricity. Using a programmable thermostat to align with daily routines and focusing energy use on occupied areas through zone heating can also help.
Sealing air leaks around doors and windows is another recommended step to retain warm air.
Tampa Electric also suggests customers consider scheduling a free home energy audit. These audits can identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, such as insulation upgrades or addressing leaky ducts, ahead of the summer cooling season.
Further bill relief is anticipated later this year. A storm-related recovery charge, currently included in monthly bills, is scheduled to end in September. This is expected to result in lower utility bills in the fall and provide a savings for customers.
For households facing challenges with higher winter energy use, Tampa Electric said customers struggling to pay their bills are encouraged to contact the company to explore payment options or financial assistance programs.
The Share program, administered by Metropolitan Ministries, the Salvation Army, and Catholic Charities Diocese of St. Petersburg, provides direct relief to help customers with energy bills. This program is funded by employees, customers, community partners, and Tampa Electric shareholders.
Sparkman said in the release, "No one should ever feel alone when they’re worried about their bill."
She encouraged customers facing financial challenges to reach out early, noting that customer service professionals are available to discuss support options and connect customers with resources.
More information on assistance programs can be found at TampaElectric.com/PayAssist.
